Did someone get told?

My first truly important grammar lesson of 2008 came around 2am last night, courtesy of my little brother:

I'm so prepared for the new year. Thanks, BB.

I laughed so hard at this I think I displaced several internal organs. The younger folks I work with say "What's the haps?" as a greeting, which i think is on the same level of goofy. It's really fun to walk into Subway at the age of 53, look at the counter guy and say,"What's the haps?"

Ha. The bf says "snap" all the time and he's the most hetero guy I know ...a good thing to look for in a boyfriend when you are a girl :)
I like the Half Acre Day stuff, it's really upbeat and fresh. Then again, I would hate to break the "humanly impossible not to" streak.

Thanks for the giggle on this otherwise blah Wednesday back at the office after an extended holiday!

Ugghhh...

Looking forward to many more musical discoveries in 2008!
