I'm so jealous that looks like fabulous fun!
Agreed. I was there and it definitely was one of the highlights of the weekend.
Holy Crap! I was right there, up against the stage, must've been just a couple feet from you, judging by the photo ... Indeed, I've not been a big Port O'Brien fan, but my friend is, so I went with her ... I still can't see myself with PO on my iPod, but man oh man, if that wasn't the most energetic show I've seen I don't know what is ... that was a fabulous show.... BTW, the Vampire Weekend show went great, and I was digging the Morning Benders ...Highlight of the night, during a break between SSPU and devotchka, local Rob Drabkin brinks up a special guest for his acoustic set, his dad on the sax ...good times all around.
Wow that was fantastic --- really got me up and hopping even early in the morning. So great when music can just make you down and dirty happy.I've just discovered your blog recently and I really love it. Thank you!
BTW, when we got to RRx early Sat, they were handing out free tix to a show this Tuesday (23rd) at the Ogden, Spiritualized and Grand Ole Party ... can't say I'm loving Spiritualized, but Grand Ole Party is a great listen, I will be there for sure, free gig? count me in.
Yeah, Chase -- I'll be there! And may have some tix to giveaway. I'm looking forward to Spiritualized.
Totally exceeded expectations! One of my favorite moments of the weekend as well.
