New Feist remix: 1234 (VanShe Technologic remix)

While I prefer the original of this song (one of my two favorite tracks on The Reminder), I do admit that Feist's voice lends itself exceptionally well to remixes since it is so distinctive and always seems to just float over the top of whatever dense beats are laid down.

This is in honor of me seeing the lovely Leslie Feist tomorrow night in Boulder; I am uber-excited.

Out July 23rd in the UK

Just saw her at Bonnaroo (I missed the 2 dates in MA due to prior engagements, BOOOO) and she was so so so fantastic. Really a fun, energetic show. And she manages to turn songs that I like but don't love (read: Brandy Alexander and Secret Heart) into something completely awesome. Have fun!

Forgot to add that I know how much you dig Pete Yorn, and now I get it. When I woke up from my epic sleep on Tuesday, the first thing I did was go to the record store and buy Day I Forgot.

Heather.. Feist is my new addiction. After so much time listening to Ray and all these singer song writers her new album is so refreshing. She's been in my cd player now for weeks. Love, love, love her!
