Kings of Leon: Bonus Live Tracks
The more I listen to Kings of Leon, the more I come to think that they may be one of the best things to happen to family musical groups since The Partridge Family, or maybe Jack & Meg White. Consisting of three brothers and a cousin (all in their early 20s), this Tennessee rock band is making a name for themselves through a few quality releases and, most recently, a tour with Bob Dylan. They've got a loose Southern-garage rock feel to their music with a classy and restless edge.Kings of Leon has worked with whiz-bang British producer Ethan Johns (Ryan Adams, Ben Kweller, Counting Crows, Ray LaMontagne) for all three of their releases: 2002's Holy Roller Novocaine EP, 2003's Youth & Young Manhood (which sounds like the title of a bad After-School Special), and the most recent Aha Shake Heartbreak (2005), which was recorded at Johns' Three Crows Studio in Los Angeles, using The Beatles' old Abbey Road mixing desk. Wahoo.

Great post on the Kings. I've loved this band since day one, its great to see that they are getting respect from other artists. Opening for Dylan, U2, and Pearl Jam isn't such a bad thing. haha. Its some pretty good company to keep.
i took some video of 3 new songs they've been playng live, let me know if you want them.

KOL are truly great live, loved taper jean girl
KOL are a great band. I've been a fan since their debut EP, and I was glad to get to see them open for U2 a year and a half ago. They're still a little rough around the edges live, but I really dig them. I wish they were opening for Bob Dylan on the east coast.
Unfortunately the links are expired. If you get a chance to repost them, that would be great, but it's no big deal if you don't. I see you're starting to use Savefile, which is better than YSI because the downloads last longer.
Ooh, can you repost the one they did with Eddie, or do you have any from the recent run through Australia? Pretty pretty please?
