Hot dang! Audio from Trent Reznor's Saturday set at the Bridge School Benefit 2006

Well, my trolling through the world of the internet has finally yielded a good quality recording of one of Trent Reznor's sets at the recent Bridge School Benefit show.

You need to hear his face-melting set; you can read my review here. I reiterate my unbridled desire for Trent to embark on a small-venue tour with these kinds of acoustic reinterpretation of his songs, because they seriously blew my mind.

NEW FILES! Updated 11/2, good quality. #2 and #3 are especially recommended. Unfortunately, I couldn't find #9, "Hurt," which was a popular one, so I have re-upped the link to the older, lower-quality version of Hurt from the last set I discovered.

The Frail
Something I Can Never Have
Piggy
La Mer
Adrift and At Peace
The Fragile
Right Where It Belongs
Non-Entity
Hurt (lower quality)

Simply amazing.

He looks so Roman with that beard! I can't wait to waste a ton of money to see NIN in Europe this Winter!

"All links are YouSendIt because the new EZArchive is cryptic beyond belief and I think that only the Mensa-bloggers have figured it out yet." Lots of laughs Heather. I must be way below Mensa as I too am struggling with the EZ guy. But thanks for sharing the Trent. Keep up the good work even if EZ sucks balls.

my apologies, in my excitement i skipped right over the song links and went straight to the ZIP link. the song links are still working fine. thanks so much for posting this. i hope Trent tries more of this, and in much smaller venues, it was an amazing performance.

Any chance for a repost? Ans (yes) the new Ezarchive is a bit cryptic. Took me almost an hour to figure out how to get links working...

Thanks for the download - I had one of the early, inferior versions on my blog. I hope this one truly does sound better.

Thank you for posting this. I've been anxious to hear some more acoustic Trent ever since the Still CD which is by far one of my favorites in the NIN catalog.

Thankyou so very much for posting the links to Trents Set. The acoustic-versions (especially "right were it belongs"!) are real treasures!

Beside this, the artists and all the other people that support this school have my biggest respect.

best wishes from Germany,
Daniel

I only just stumbled onto these recordings...a year and half later! Up until now I've had to suffer the youtube posts getting my fix of these amazing renditions! Thank you for posting these much better quality recordings! Was this performance ever put on DVD/CD release by the Bridge School? I've seen all of the raw tapings - but it would be amazing to have this for my collection! Checked the Bridge School website and can't find any details - except for a compilation of artists - which I understand Trent Reznor's performance did not make the cut for some reason! So any info that you know of would be terribly appreciated!

THANK YOU AGAIN FOR POSTING THIS!
He's an amazing man!

I listened to these links over and over and downloaded them to my computer a few years ago. My computer that has the files has since mostly broken, so finding these again is like finding your true love all over again. Ha. Amazing, I'm so happy they are still up and working. Thank you.
